Our Kol was combined with our culminating family potluck. Our entire commonwealth was there... all twenty families and all the siblings. The youth sat up front behind two tables, one team on each. (we had two classes of key students dressed in matching t-shirts.) Four sat at each table and then next to the table the other youth sat in chairs ready to cycle in. Every ten questions we stopped, tallied the scores and cycled one youth out and one in.
We had one questioner and two judges who kept score. We did buy a buzzer system for the commonwealth. eight buzzers I think a hundred and fifty bucks for the system.
We had created questions throughout the year and posted them on our blogsite. The youth printed them and tested each other and studied for it and then we asked these questions randomly.
We even had matching t shirts made, yellow for one team, green for the other. With a logo. (Hmmm I wonder where all those photos are?) Made them ourselves from iron-on prints from the craft store. (five bucks each).
Our blogsite is okkeyofliberty.blogspot.com Feel free to use any information on that site. Hope it's not too hard to navigate.
My best wishes. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
