...the drama played out between Sept 1774 and July 4, 1776 when America's leaders met in secret to debate and eventually declare freedom for America.

He is a historian, has written seven books on Revolutionary Era, Fullbright Professor.
One of his books, Plain Honest Men won the Geo. Washington Book Award.
He annotated the Declaration and Constitution for Penguin Books in Aug 2010.
